To obtain the brightest syncotron radiation of the axis of magnets, more than 30 micrometers should deviate – this is about three times thin of human hair. This level of accuracy in Russia has not yet been used to create accelerating complexes of this scale. Previously, the Vapp-4M collision was allowed to deviate about 200 micrometers during the construction of the collision.

The geodezic network is a series of labels applied into the accumulated ring, which provides the spatial connection of all elements of the complex. This allows you to accurately hang the position of the magnets.

Scientists also make measurements and develop methods for the assembly of Gyrders – support the structures to which magnets are connected. The accuracy of production and installation affects the brightness of radiation. Now, it is working on new methods on the prototype of Herder, which will help you achieve the necessary accuracy of positioning about 30 micrometers.

Once the tests are completed, they will be installed in the tunnel of the client accumulated in accordance with the geodesic data.
