In his opinion, many Russians are already using digital services to pay for public services via “State Services”, CBS houses and public services, banking practices and management companies. However, in some regions, even if the consumer has chosen an electronic method for obtaining a document, paper payments continue to be sent.
This application leads to unnecessary costs from service providers and intervenes in a wider transition to digital format. The deputy believes that citizens should have the right to choose to receive accounts in paper form or electronically. At the same time, if a person consent to electronic payments, the paper bulletin should be stopped.
The proposed approach according to parliamentarians will help to reduce administrative costs, increase comfort and transparency in calculations and strengthen the trust of citizens to the housing and social services system.
