According to Omdia analysts, Boe’s share will be 51% of the total supply, which will be equivalent to 11.5 million panels. In 2024, the company invaded 39% of the market.
Growth is currently provided by the expanded LCD screen production for MacBook Air, which is currently in versions of 13.6 and 15.3 inches. The total volume of Apple orders for MacBook in 2025 will be about 22.5 million – only 1% before a year. However, the redistribution between suppliers was meaningful.
The LG screen will reduce materials to 12.2%, 8.48 million panels (35%of the market), which will provide mini LED screens up to 20.8%with the MacBook process.
However, Boe domination may be temporary: Apple has been planning to switch to the OLED screen in the development of the Samsung screen since 2026. This will significantly change the balance of power in the market.
