The Ministry of Digital Development will receive the authority to keep the registration of such centers. The government will set special requirements for equipment, security and operators. Particular attention is paid to the ban on crypto money mining and the organization of mining pools in registered data centers.
The law also allows the ministers’ cabinet to regulate the sale of SIM cards in new founding institutions of the federation and border regions. Communication operators can then determine the deadline on which they cannot offer specific subscriber numbers.
The document will come into force after the official publication.
