The analysis of the data of 900 users in March 2025 is almost double the number of transitions in ordinary connections when there is an overview of the AI on the search page -from 15% to 8%. In addition, only 1% of such investigations lead to transition to Wikipedia, Youtube and Reddit – mostly. Users also complete the search after reading AI’s response without any further checking information.
Google has expanded its uses since the launch of Overview of AI – now they are now involved in every fifth search query. In particular, such answers are similar to questions and long requests.
