The model worked without accessing ready -made answers. First, he received basic information about the patient – age, gender and complaints, then continuously demanded additional data: tests, visualization and conclusion of experts. On average, the system had to require dialogue to diagnose.

AI assistant has successfully recognized many rare diseases such as Wippla and Aceruloplmiamia. In addition, in one case, the diagnosis was made after the first request, after six in the other. The study states that the model not only creates logically hypotheses, but also abandoned the wrong assumptions if it has not approved new data.

The experiment also had an unexpected result – emotionally saturated stories of patients increased AI’s attention and made it more accurate. Developers believe that technology can be useful not only in medicine but also in doctors’ education, and offers complex scenarios for simulation.

The project was implemented by Airi and Sbermedia experts. Now it is testing in Annex, where more than 160 thousand objections are made.
