This decision is linked to the needs of Washington, which should be 30-50% weaker than the original chips for China. Previously, the H20 supply ban appeared with losses of $ 5.5 billion for Nvidia, but soon restrictions have been softened.

Therefore, companies were allowed to export models cut off, provided that the US budget was deported. However, the upcoming steps in China took skeptical steps – the H20’s outdated and unsafe local authorities and state media companies explicitly saved from supply.

However, the demand for Nvidia chips in China continues: Many customers still prefer local Huawei analogs due to the mature ecosystem of the software.

If the B30 gets approval, the NVIDIA may hold positions, but Chinese will play too much performance restrictions on the hands of competitors.
