The main driving forces of Huawei sales were the Pura X and Mate X6 models. Pura X has gained popularity in China thanks to its new form factor, Kirin processor and AI. Mate X6 strengthened the brand’s position outside the country. As a result, Huawei’s share in world folding smartphone materials reached 48%, which is twice the same period of the last year (24%).
The second is Samsung with a 20%share. The Korean brand has recently introduced three new Galaxy Z, but they still need time to gain a basis on the market.
The third line was taken with honor with the successful sales of Magic V5, the most folded smartphone, especially in Europe. Motorola continues to be the leader in the USA.
In total, 6.6 million folding devices were sold in the world in a quarter of 2025.
