If the standard installation of the system takes about 20 GB, this volume can be reduced to 2.8 GB almost seven times with Nano11.
The secret is that the script cuts everything unnecessary: drivers, wallpapers, components for different languages, Windows Hello and even update system. Therefore, a minimalist iso-impellation of Windows 11, which is slightly heavier than 2 GB, is created and the installation is significantly faster.
Of course, these victims do not make Nano11 suitable for daily use. The lack of Windows update means that the system cannot receive security patches and drivers.
Therefore, the project is mostly considered as an experiment that shows how much Windows 11 is possible and maintains its basic functions.
Nano11 works with any broadcast of Windows 11 and uses official Microsoft tools to replace images. You can download the script to Github.
