According to the leaks of a UI 8.5 product software code, the special display (or confidentiality screen) mode will be displayed on the smartphone, which will limit the screen imaging angles and hide the content from the curious eyes.
The function is expected to work on the basis of Flex Magic Pixel technology from Samsung Display. This development uses AI for dynamic pixel adjustment and reduces the visibility of the screen on the side.
The product software code says that the special screen can be opened automatically when using hidden applications or in crowded places.
Users will also be given the possibility of manual settings: selecting the protection level (in addition to the “maximum privacy” screen), as well as identify certain applications and determine the timing to enable the function.
Since technology requires special screen equipment, it will probably be available in new models, including the Galaxy S26 Ultra, and at the beginning of 2026, a UI 8.5 version is expected with the Galaxy S26 series.
