In Russia, 50.7% of specialists consider mobile development to be an industry with high potential. A third party plans to create a mobile app, another party is already writing the first product. This follows from the results of the All Cups survey by VK, the Skolkovo Foundation and IT_ONE, the results of which were reviewed by RB.RU.
For 47.4% of the respondents, the development process took two to three months. One in four worked on the app for three to six months.
65.6% of developers were looking for investors for their projects: more than half could not cope with this task and 30.6% are still actively looking. Most respondents are willing to invest in their own apps. For example, 62.2% of respondents are ready to spend up to 200,000 rubles on their startup.
During the survey, developers also noted that they feel competition in the mobile development market. 39.5% reported that they would like to see more IT championships, hackathons, industry contests on this topic on the market.
One in five is ready to participate in IT competitions for grants to develop their own application, receive an offer for a good job (28.5%), as well as money for personal needs (35.6%).
The study was conducted in March 2023 among 1,577 developers.
