The device attracts attention with its unusual design – instead of the usual “box”-shaped case, it is made in the form of a cylinder with a transparent top, inside of which an illuminated structure is hidden, resembling a snow-covered mountain.
The router can easily be confused with an element of a modern interior: Soft interior lighting creates a “sunset light” effect and makes the X3 Pro look more like a decorative object than networking equipment.
Along with the main device, HUAWEI also offers a compact expansion module made in the same style. It provides support for mesh networks, allowing you to expand your Wi-Fi coverage without running cables.
Although the company has not announced all the features yet, the HUAWEI X3 Pro is expected to support Wi-Fi 7 and have a NearLink gateway.
