The previously available model had 48 GB and now the company offers an option with increased memory while maintaining the same architecture and features.
Both versions use the GB202 GPU with 14,080 CUDA cores and a 512-bit memory bus. While bandwidth reaches 1,344 TB/s, the 72 GB version uses 24 3 GB chips in a 21 Gbit/s configuration.
The power consumption of the new product is unchanged – 300 W TDP and the clock speeds and performance are also the same: 65 TFLOPS FP32 and 196 TFLOPS RT Core Performance.
According to sources, RTX PRO 5000 72GB is aimed at artificial intelligence tasks, 3D graphics and large engineering projects where the amount of video memory is important.
The price of the new product is estimated to be about $ 5,000, while the price of the 48 GB version is about $ 4,500, and the price of the flagship RTX Pro 6000 is more than $ 8,300.
