In his meeting with investors, Musk said he wanted to increase his voting share from 13.5% to about 25% so he could “be confident about building an army of robots,” aka Project Optimus. He called these robots “infinite money-making machines” and said they could work five times more efficiently than humans.
At the same time, Musk also harshly criticized Institutional Shareholder Services and Glass Lewis, who suggested investors reject his plan and called them “corporate terrorists.”
Musk also said that Tesla robotaxis will be able to drive autonomously in parts of Austin by the end of the year, and will appear in 8-10 more major US cities in the future.
