According to Malov, a VPNP has already been developed for the implementation of the project – a calculator for flight and navigation parameters, which will provide information on indicators of where and where the aircraft is flying. The system will also be responsible for other functions. At the same time, even automatic control systems have not yet been installed in the “corn mills”.
“The unit provides flight and navigation parameters on gauges, showing where and where we are flying, giving commands to deflect wings and flaps, so it is essentially an automatic control system to assist the pilot. In the complex control system for the unmanned version of An-2, heterogeneous blocks of VPNP duplicate each other. The work will take about two years,” said Malov.
