Microsoft has changed the Windows 10 21H2 implementation. So far only selected devices have been automatically updated to Windows 10 21H2 (19044). This situation has now been changed.

If you are still using an old version, you will receive the update shortly. This is a minor update (KB5003791) that unlocks features already included in Windows 10 21H1. General availability is the reason companies switch without hesitation. Another reason is that Windows 10 20H2 will receive its last security update in May, except for Enterprise editions.

Of course, Microsoft states that you can upgrade to Windows 11. However, Windows 10 is still required, as some systems are not compatible with Windows 11. This is possible until October 2025, when Microsoft will stop support for the operating system.
