One of the little-noticed innovations of iOS 16 has become an interesting option that allows you to remotely control other Apple gadgets nearby. This is not yet an analogue of TeamViewer, but the next step in bringing gadgets together and expanding the capabilities of the apple ecosystem.
The new feature allows you to remotely launch some of the features of your other gadgets. An option appeared in one of the latest updates of the test version of the firmware and so far allows you to initiate control only from the iPhone. Remote control of gadgets from the iPad will not work.
How to enable control
The option is under Universal access and of course for users with disabilities.
To activate, follow the path Settings – Accessibility – Manage Stars and the world’s only link in the section for organizations nearby.
The option will work on all devices with the current test for students iOS 16that are nearby. Of course, the gadgets must be managed by the same account. Apple ID.
What can you do with other gadgets remotely
At the moment, after connecting to one of your gadgets, a menu of six actions is available:
▶ Go to home screen device;
▶ Launch Multitasking panels;
▶ Opening center of life;
▶ Go to Control point;
▶ Start voice assistant Siri;
▶ Menu with available actions.
The last section duplicates the five previous cases with textual transcripts and a noticeable emission control block and increase in quantity.
When you activate any of the options, you can remotely unlock the gadget if it was previously blocked.
Invoking Siri lets you set an action on a nearby gadget, meaning the ability to remotely navigate to the home screen, call up the reality center or multitasking bar while some questions pop up.

How to add a new option to iOS Control Center
The chip is hidden in the depths of the settings menu and it will not always be convenient to quickly get to it. I did not consider the usual system switch for options.
However, it is possible to quickly remove and disable access.
