People who consciously decide not to have children are called childless. A new study found that around 27% of men and women describe themselves as such. It was a study by scientists at the University of Michigan.
It was also known that the majority of those who were childless decided not to have children between the ages of 10 and 19 (34%), as well as between the ages of 20 and 29 (about 32%). Women are more likely to report a clear reluctance to have children. The mean age of these women was 38.58 years. They made this decision at a young age and still have no children.
