Developer Steve Moser found another proof that the Always-on-Display feature will appear in the iPhone 14 Pro.
In Xcode 14 Beta, he saw a screen lock screen that fixes details from the screen widget as the screen wakes up. The animation shows intricate detail disappearing in iOS 16 due to the iPhone being locked and the always-on display active.
iOS developer @rhogelleim also notedthat widgets become black and white in this mode, and the volume disappears.
According to rumors, the innovation is expected only in the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max, as they are the only ones equipped with screens that support a dynamic refresh rate of 1-120 Hz. The iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus will not have this feature.
