The police accuse Manilov of seven episodes of especially large-scale fraud and the organization of a criminal community, reports Kommersant. It follows from the court ruling that the businessman will be detained for two months from the moment of his extradition to Russia or from the day he is detained on the territory of the Russian Federation.

The investigation believes that the businessman, who now lives in Israel, was the leader of an organized crime community that embezzled funds in this industry.

Manilov himself believes that the security forces are behind his persecution, not allowing “outsiders” to enter the market for funeral services.
