Igor Bukhman, Boris Gertsovsky and Ivan Tavrin will leave the Nexters board of directors. Tavrin will leave all management positions, Bukhman and Gertsovsky will continue to participate in the management of Nexters and will be one of the main shareholders of the company.
Nexters spoke about the changes in the composition of the board of directors in a statement dedicated to the publication of a quarterly financial report.
Ivan Tavrin will step down as Chairman of the Nexters Board of Directors and will take up senior positions in the company.
One of the main shareholders of Nexters, Igor Bukhman, will leave the board of directors, as well as the co-founder of the company Boris Gertsovsky. Both will continue to participate in the management of Nexters. Dmitry Bukhman and Andrey Fadeev will retain their seats on the Board of Directors.
“Changes in operations, optimization and other initiatives, including strengthening the board of directors, were the necessary steps to put our company on the right track,” said Andrey Fadeev, co-founder and CEO of Nexters.
The Board of Directors will include three independent directors: Tal Shokham, Mari Kholiv and Olga Loskutova. The participation of independent directors in the Nexters board will exceed half and will reach 71%.
Nexters also reported record quarterly revenue of $126 million and 45% year-over-year growth, and record net income of $23 million; the company posted a loss of $12 million in the second quarter of 2021.
