Four groups of volunteers participated in the study, three of which listened to a particular genre of music and the last one did not. The experiment was conducted over three days, during which participants’ attention was measured.

As a result, it was observed that those who listened to music (regardless of the duration) performed better than the control group who did not listen to music. Also, those who listened to music had higher heart rate variability. The results of the repeat test performed three weeks later showed that those who listened to music had a higher response rate.
