IKEA will end online product sales in Russia at 8:00 p.m. Moscow time on August 15, the company said. After this date, the retailer’s stores will only be available for pickups and returns.
All orders placed will be issued or delivered during the months of August and September.
In early March, IKEA announced the suspension of work in Russia amid a special operation. In mid-June, the company announced that it would reduce business in the country and sell its factories, as well as carry out a sale of surplus products.
The company had a successful sale for employees and started an online sale for customers on July 5, which is still going on. Customers have repeatedly complained about the site being blocked due to the large number of people who want to buy IKEA products.
Previously, IKEA expanded the delivery zone in Russia in another ten cities where it does not have stores.
Currently, you can access the IKEA website after passing the electronic queue.
