The Ronald McDonald House Foundation, which McDonald’s opened in Russia in 1995, will change its name and continue to work in the country with new founders. They will be the company “Tasty – and the point”, which came to replace McDonald’s.
The Ronald McDonald House Foundation announced the name change in its group on the VKontakte social network.
The message states that the fund will be called “Family Together” and will continue to work in Russia with new founders.
“The founders of the fund were companies operating under the Vkusno-i Tochka brand: Sistema PBO LLC, DVRP LLC, GID LLC and SPP LLC,” the fund said. “Vkusno – and that’s it” – the new owner of the McDonald’s business in Russia.
According to its own data, the wards of the fund are more than 250 thousand people. The Foundation intends to develop its projects in cooperation with children’s medical centers, said Ekaterina Myslitskaya, General Director of the Ronald McDonald House Foundation.
After the announcement of the cessation of work in Russia, McDonald’s, which established the Ronald McDonald House Foundation in the country in 1995, announced that despite the exit of the fast food restaurant chain, the fund would continue to function.
