The Roskomnadzor structure allocated 57.7 million rubles for the development of the Oculus system. Based on neural networks, it will analyze photos, videos and texts on websites, social networks and instant messengers in search of prohibited information.

Almost 60 million rubles will be spent on the development of the Oculus search system for illegal content

The development will be carried out by Eksikyushn RDC LLC. The system should be ready by December 12, Kommersant writes.

“Oculus” will have to find prohibited content in texts, and in “scenes, combinations of objects, image compositions, faces, statics and dynamics of movement.”

The estimated capacity is 200 thousand images per day, the system will analyze two frames or photographs per second.

About plans to create such a system became known in September last year. It will work on the basis of AI and will search for extremist materials and pornography, drug propaganda, calls for riots and suicide. Now the list also includes the promotion of “non-traditional relationships” and the demonstration of smoking.

According to the source of the post in an IT company, it is basically impossible to release such a system not only for the specified amount and within such deadlines.
