Looks like the successor to the FRITZ!Repeater 3000 is working. Daniel LuckyThe editor of the German news site nd.Aktuell discovered an EU declaration of conformity for the FRITZ!Repeater 3000 AX on the AVM website.

The EU declaration of conformity is a mandatory document in Europe where manufacturers declare that their products comply with EU legislation. The document, which is understood to have been signed at the beginning of this year, mentions the name ‘FRITZ!Repeater 3000 AX Wi-Fi Repeater’.

No details are known about the new model yet, but the addition of ‘AX’ meant an upgrade to the new WiFi 6 standard on other AVM products. Based on the recently released FRITZ!BOX 7950 AX, it can provide WiFi speeds of 2400 Mbit/s (5 GHz), which is approximately 40 percent faster than the current FRITZ! Repeater 3000 (1733 Mbit/s at 5 GHz). .
