The investors of the company “Mango Inshuring” decided not to develop the project “in the current situation”. Since September 1, the client portfolio is owned by AlfaStrakhovanie, a partner.
Until December 1, the Mango support team will accept applications, consider applications and pay compensation, after that – the AlfaStrakhovanie team.
The company has warned customers that all annual subscriptions will work as usual until the end of the paid period. They also assured that the conditions specified in the policy would not change when switching to AlfaStrakhovanie.
Vladimir Skvortsov, CEO of the insurer accepting the portfolio, told Interfax in the summer that the decision to leave was made as part of optimizing the business. On July 20, Mango Inshuring stopped renewing home and property insurance policies and shut down social media.
Mango Insurance Company was registered in August 2018. The owner of a 100% stake immediately became UNS-Holding LLC, which belongs to Cypriot Alfastrakhovanie Holdings Limited.
In 2018, Alfa Group shareholders invested RUB 500 million in the start-up and another RUB 1.5 billion in 2019.
