Insects have many qualities available to people that can be used in their own: insects are small, which allows them to penetrate any alkali, move in extremely limited spaces and fly from place to place. In connection with electronics, their capabilities increase exponentially.

As a result, the first representatives of the insect cyborg family were born – in particular, the cyborg locust, which has the function of smelling, is able to quickly detect explosives; cyborg dragonflies that turn into the expected drones and, finally, cyborg cockroaches, which can become rescue assistants in search of victims of natural disasters injured under the rubble.

In the first versions of cborg-cultural Researchers at the RIKEN Research Institute (Japan) went further and installed solar panels on cyborg cockroaches (we are talking about Madagascar cockroaches 6 cm long – ed. TechCult.ru).
