Blockchain platform Polygon, Soyuzmultfilm and OD Business Technologies Group will develop NFT projects from the oldest Russian film studio. The launch of the first non-fungible token is planned for later this year.
Polygon founder Sandip Nailval, film studio supervisory board chairman Yuliana Slashcheva, and ODBT Group CEO and co-founder Olga Grishchenko signed an agreement on this during the 7th Eastern Economic Forum, TASS writes. .
In the course of the cooperation, the Polygon/Cere joint venture will invest more than $4 million in the development and development support of Soyuzmultfilm’s NFT projects.
“Soyuzmultfilm is a company with the richest, almost hundred-year-old traditions, which today, in the 21st century, continues its continuous development, rapidly mastering new forms and technologies. <…> Together with our partners, we will open a completely new page in the history of the legendary film studio,” Soyuzmulfilm reported.
Within the framework of cooperation, the creation of various types of tokens is considered: digital art objects, collectible tokens, as well as NFTs, which provide exclusive privileges to their owners.
