When disassembling the Machenike S15C, it turned out that the cooling system on it is somewhat simpler than the Thunderobot 911Plus. This gaming laptop also has room for a SATA 3 SSD, and you don’t need to buy anything other than the drive itself to install it. Otherwise, it’s a pretty good model with a keyboard and battery that will be easy and inexpensive to replace if needed.
Inside the Thunderobot 911Plus, the cooling system is already more serious. In testing, the temperature of the Machenike S15C was about 5 degrees higher than the temperature of the Thunderobot 911Plus.
The expert says that in general, both laptops are very similar in terms of the location of all elements. The same goes for the keyboard’s features.
Based on the results of the analysis, the presenter concluded that the expectations did not match reality at all. There are no particular savings in components in these two models, the components are the same as in other Chinese and Taiwanese models (in part due to the use of Clevo platforms common to many laptops and the unification of the component base). And the build quality, at first glance, these two laptops are fine. The same applies to problems with repairs: if something happens, you can replace any spare part in the service center without any problems. In other words, the Machenike S15C and Thunderobot 911Plus are really good alternatives to branded gaming laptops. And you can buy them cheaper than some competitors. The only remaining question is long-term reliability.
