Already today, according to Manturov and representatives of the Union, an additional package of measures is being formed to support the innovation cluster. Work on the preparation of the regulations is expected to be completed by the end of October.

According to experts of the vegetable products market, by 2030 its capacity may reach 200 billion dollars, and Russia may account for up to 10-15% of world production.

At the same time, Manturov separately noted that in the direction of using plant protein instead of animal, Russian manufacturers keep pace with world trends.

“Today, very active work is being done to develop and pass state standards for plant alternatives. We hope that in the near future work will begin to restore order in other segments of the legal field and manufacturers will receive state support,” said Artyom Ponomarev, General Director of the Union of Producers of Plant-Based Products.
