Roccat has announced a wireless version of its Burst Pro gaming mouse. The Burst Pro Air retains the symmetrical design of the original, but adds wireless connectivity, a built-in battery, and more lighting. It costs €99.99 and therefore caters to a slightly higher market segment than its wired sibling (suggested price is €59.99).

Burst Pro Air has both Bluetooth 5.2 and its own Stellar Wireless (2.4 GHz). The internal battery should last 100 hours on one charge. Charging is via USB-C, and ten minutes of charging is enough for five hours of playtime. Roccat includes an extra light and flexible ‘PhantomFlex’ cable, so it does not interfere with mouse use.

Inside are Roccat’s Titan Optical switches with a 0.2 millisecond response time and lasting 100 million clicks. The ‘Owl-Eye’ sensor used is based on the Pixart PAW3370. The frame of the mouse is honeycomb, but covered with a thin layer of plastic. This makes the Burst Pro Air water and dust repellent, according to Roccat. The mouse measures 120 x 58 x 38 mm (length x width x height) and weighs 81 grams.

RGB lighting is of course available in four regions: on both mouse buttons, on the scroll wheel and on the palm rest. It can only be controlled with Roccat’s Swarm software included with Windows. It also allows you to customize the functions of the keys.

The Roccat Burst Pro Air is immediately available on the manufacturer’s site.
