Access to Clipchamp’s premium filter and effects is now available from Microsoft at no additional cost to Microsoft 365 subscribed users. Big tech brings the free video editor that became standard in Windows 11 closer to the other products in the package with its offer.

The app has eight filters and effects marked as premium in the library. The software also provides top-notch sound effects. All available at no additional cost with a Microsoft 365 subscription.

Clicpchamp was acquired exactly one year ago, in September 2021. Since then, Microsoft has made significant changes that have improved the video editor’s performance. For example, the program previously only allowed free export of videos up to 480p, but now it is possible to download files up to 1080p.

Prices were also high. Clipchamp had the highest subscription at $39 per month, more than R$200 at current rates. With a purchase from Microsoft for $11.99 or $64, it’s possible to use everything included in the Essentials plan in addition to cloud storage.

You can use Clipchamp as a program on both Windows and the web, just create a free account. See software requirements here.
