Rosatom has begun construction of a state-of-the-art plant worth more than 26 billion rubles, which will produce modern lithium-ion batteries designed for use in electric vehicles. The bet enterprise is located on a part of the territory belonging to the Baltic region, which is under the kinggradra.
The new plant requires a full cycle of battery production – from a combination of organic components, as well as cathode masses, to full control of the outgoing finished products. The area, which will occupy the new plant, will collect 23.5 hectares, and the production building and premises will cover about 135.

It is quite logical and predictable that Avtotor will become the head consumer of battery products of the new Avtotor plant in Kaliningrad, which, together with a number of Moscow and Lipetsk, has committed to mass production electric vehicles.
