Specialists of the Perm National Research Polytechnic Institute have developed and proposed proposals for the use of three-dimensional printing of graphene parts of complex shapes for use in aviation, which have noticed a reduction in the cost of their production while improving product quality.

As you know, graphene is characterized by high strength, flexibility and low weight, significant heat transfer and electricity. For example, as part of the wings and parts of the fuselage aircraft

Russian scientists have developed 3D printing of graphene parts

The technology itself is obtained in the 3D printing of graphene products from liquid hydrocarbons, which, as a result of research with analogues, makes it possible not to use binding materials, resulting in physical and mechanical parameters of parts. In addition, the promising technology does not support the application of heat treatment, which is OLES.

In the near future, PNRPU specialists plan to manufacture a 3D printer itself, designed to print products from graphene, which, for sure, will find its application not only in the aviation industry, but also in enterprises engaged in the production of electronics and medicine.
