The Volvo Group is considering various business options in Russia, according to Vedomosti.
Among them is the partial or complete sale of assets. They include factories for welding and painting cabins, as well as the assembly of trucks for 15,000 vehicles per year in Kaluga and four service centers in different countries.
In the observed situation, the Volvo Group cannot conduct operations in Russia, so a decision was made to adapt the business and reduce the number of employees.

Experts believe that one of the Chinese manufacturers can become a buyer. One of the plants in the CIS also received an offer from Volvo to acquire the business. The company intends to come by the end of 2022 or in the first quarter of 2023. [Ведомости]
