PhoneArena tested the battery life of the iPhone 14 Pro with and without Always-on display enabled.
The test was conducted on an iPhone 14 Pro without a SIM card. The smartphone was not used during the experiments. One application was launched on the screen. Measurements were taken from 9 am to 5 pm.
The iPhone 14 Pro without Always-on Display did not drain a single percent in an 8-hour interval. The battery of the iPhone 14 Pro with the active Always-on Display was discharged by 6% in 8 hours.
But this is the result of testing. In real life, Always-on Display does not consume nature so actively. When the iPhone 14 Pro is in your pocket, the always-on screen turns off. In addition, when a smartphone is used, the function does not work, so there is no indication of battery drain. [PhoneArena]
