Following iOS 16.1, the company released iPadOS 16.1 to all users.
Apple fixed bugs and increased the level of perception of the system. Also added new features.

Producer
Perhaps the biggest and most important innovation.
iPad owners now create overlapping windows of different sizes. The active application is displayed in the center, while the external open window opens on the left. The lower – the longer you do not own it.
Stage Manager is available on iPads with A12X, A12Z, M1 and M2 chips.
There is also now support for external 6K monitors that even more windows can link to.
Weather app
Now it’s available on the iPad. It is a pity that the Calculator was never delivered.
Facade scaling
Now you can choose one of two options for displaying the interface.
The feature is available for older 2018 and 2020 11-inch iPad Pros with A12X and A12Z processors. You can increase the space between icons to account for surface features. Previously, only the iPad with the M1 chip was available.

How to download iPadOS 16.1
The size of the software is about 5 GB. You can download iPadOS 16.1 from Settings —> General —> Software Update.
