1C became the owner of a 28% stake in the Bidzaar bidding platform, founded by Andrey Chernogorov, CEO of Cognitive Technologies. In the first quarter of 2023, the Bidzaar solution will be integrated into the 1C ecosystem.
The change in the authorized capital of Bidzaar LLC, the legal entity of the Bidzaar site, follows from the data of the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, to which Kommersant drew attention.
1C received a 28.05% stake in the company, under what conditions is not disclosed. It is only reported that the Bidzaar solution will be integrated into the 1C ecosystem in the first quarter of 2023, and the purpose of the transaction was to increase the efficiency of 1C: Enterprise.
Bidzaar is an electronic bidding platform. The company’s website says that more than 300 private companies shop on the site, including Ozon, Tele2, Beeline, Detsky Mir, Gloria Jeans and others. The turnover of purchases on the platform in 2022 amounted to 117.1 billion rubles.
The Bidzaar service was founded in 2019 by Andrey Chernogorov, CEO of Cognitive Technologies. After the transaction, his participation in the company went from 70% to 50.45%, 21.5% belongs to Olga Zarubina.
In 2021, Bidzaar raised $2 million from Anton Buzdalin, the founder of Sber Eapteki. As a result of the round, the company was valued at $8.3 million.
