The social network Koo experienced an instability this Friday (18) that prevented users from accessing it. The platform became popular after rumors that Twitter might end and may have gone completely offline due to significant increase in hits🇧🇷
according to their tests Technology WorldWhen trying to access the service returned a “Gateway timeout” error message that appeared when a page did not load after several attempts.
After long insistence, we managed to enter the site. However, even when it was obvious, posts related to a hashtag were having trouble loading and wasting time loading images.
For those unfamiliar, the app with a controversial name for Portuguese speakers was launched in India in 2020, but is available for download worldwide. The service became popular this morning and has become an alternative for thousands of people who see it as a good alternative to Twitter.

High hit count
After many people started talking about Koo’s downfall, a few users started resending a supposed message from the app.
“Thanks for the love! The spike in users and usage has resulted in a longer load time than we expected. We are doing our best to bring Koo back. We will be back very soon,” the platform says, quoting the so-called official statement.
