On Tuesday (24), MSI announced a 49-inch super ultra-wide curved monitor with QD-OLED technology, a first in its category according to the manufacturer. The model is aimed at the enthusiast audience and joins the recently launched Alienware monitor in Brazil with the same type of panel.
Speaking of the panel, this is one of the most important features of the product. This technology uses quantum dots in color reproductionthis leads to a more consistent result in the final imaging.
Unfortunately, MSI does not give much details about the monitor, which it calls “Project 491C”, but we already know that the model will have it. 240Hz refresh rate and UWQHD resolution (3440×1440)🇧🇷

Another interesting difference is the curved screen accompanying the ultra-wide screen. 800R curvatureoccupies most of the user’s field of view. However, due to the large size, you may need to sit quite far from the screen to enjoy the product.
The build is similar to other models, such as the LG UltraGear 45GR95QE, the first 45-inch OLED monitor, and a new Corsair curved monitor that can “bend” to increase curvature.
Project 491C will be introduced by MSI very soon. CES 2023It will take place in Las Vegas from January 5-8.
