Representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia said that the department has problems with issuing internal passports due to dot matrix printers, or rather their shortage – the ministry notices that there is no way to buy them, since domestic manufacturers do not consume them, and foreign companies have suspended supplies from -for meetings imposed on the Russian Federation.

At the same time, it is clarified that the production of domestic manufacturers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs does not have the opportunity, but if they increase production, develop them in accordance with the requirements and requirements and use them in production, the department is ready to purchase equipment.

To date, dot matrix printers from such brands as OKI and Epson, as well as Olivetti, have been purchased at the Ministry of Internal Affairs – they should have been captured in the near future, although this seriously depends on the number of types of spare parts and “consumables”, after how many printers are produced in available units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs decreased to shrink.

And if everything is clear with Epson, since the vendor is officially leaving Russia, then OKI and Olivetti have not been appointed to consume their work on the Russian market and previously worked through a chain of distributors – without creating a representative office in the territory Russia.
