On Product Hunt, a free PR advent calendar for tech startups appeared that, as its creators say, will “help attract investment” and teach you how to promote your product in 24 days.

Product Hunt launched an advent calendar to help startups “raise a round in 24 days”

The creator of the product, PR Studio Around, promises that in 24 days, by completing simple tasks and recommendations, startups will be able to attract the attention of venture capitalists, improve their PR skills, get published in the media and social networks, and independently increase awareness of their products by 20 times.

Calendar tasks are expected to take no more than 15 minutes per day to complete.

How does it work:

  • Startup founders leave their email on the PR advent calendar website and from December 1 to 24 they receive daily tasks and instructions on their Google calendars (those who wish can also receive tasks by email).
  • Each of the Christmas advents will include detailed instructions, practical advice and recommendations from a public relations agency. Useful information for startups includes “relevant global media” journalist contacts, advice on product PR packaging, maintaining accounts on Twitter and Linkedin, establishing useful connections with thought leaders.

“The competition for the attention of venture capitalists is enormous today. For a startup to stand out, it must stand out clearly. Good public relations is the best way to do this. We have been helping tech start-ups attract investment for a long time and have tried to tailor all our experience to the up-and-coming tasks,” said Vyacheslav Smirnov, co-founder of PR Studio Around.

The company expects even first-time founders to learn how to market themselves in 24 days.

The creators of the advent calendar believe that it can also be useful for venture capitalists themselves to understand the mindset of startup founders.
