Youtuber Mark Fischbach, better known as Markiplier, managed to “break” OnlyFans yesterday (08). Keeping a promise, he created a page to spread conceptual nude photos and the platform crashed due to high click volume.

With over 34 million subscribers and over 19 billion views, the creator creates humor sketches, animations, reactions, challenges and gameplay videos.

With a very loyal audience, Markiplier made a promise in October of this year: If his podcast “Distractable” hits the top of the Spotify and Apple charts, it would create an OnlyFans. There was also another circumstance that was defeated: his other podcast, “Go! My Favorite Sports Team” would be the top sports category on Spotify.

The legions of fans did their part, and he did his part. Its page on the site, which has become popular for its adult content, has already received more than 23,000 likes. The number was enough for the Down Inspector site to see an increase in the number of notifications about problems with the site.

He even joked about the situation and posted a screenshot on Twitter of OnlyFans reporting an error while trying to access the platform. “Really guys?” he joked.

for charity

Despite the extravagance, Markiplier did not start posting erotic photos in order to earn more money. Action will take back all profits from Cincinnati Children’s Hospital (the creator’s hometown) and World Food Program (the world’s largest humanitarian organization created by the UN) subscriptions.

And it’s not the first time he’s done something like this. In 2018, the youtuber launched the “tasteful nudists” calendar, whose profits went to a cancer research institute.
