Russian top managers are quite pessimistic about the immediate prospects of the Russian economy, according to a study by the Association of Managers “The Future of Managerial Positions.”

Only a third of top managers expect the recovery of the Russian economy by 2025

Only a third believe that an economic recovery should be expected by 2025 (this period is given in many official forecasts), writes Kommersant citing a study.

Almost half (48%) predict this will happen in 2027, with one in seven believing the recovery will have to wait until 2035.

More than 200 top managers surveyed believe that progress will be hampered by a reduction in the pace of innovative development, reverse industrialization (returning to old technologies), and a widening gap in the scientific agenda between Russia and the world.
