THEM Valley announced here this week that the sale of the new version of its powered tablet has begun in Brazil. The manufacturer claims that its tablet is special suitable for professional use “in extreme cases”. It has an autonomy of up to 20 hours, which is a significant number, especially when compared with traditional tablets. The screen is 12” with 16:10 ratio and Full HD resolution.

In addition to the performance highlights, Dell also highlights the security differences. For example, TPM 2.0 ControlVault comes preinstalled, a hardware-level authentication tool that helps protect tablet data. The Latitude 7230 Rugged Extreme also supports Windows Hello.

Multiple hardware and system options

Dell’s powered tablet has several options for processors, integrated graphics, and even an operating system. For example, in terms of CPU, the product ranges from Intel Core i3-1210U to Intel Core i7-1260U.

The operating system starts from Windows 10 2021H1 but there is also an option that comes with Windows 11 2022H2 Pro. There are many memory and storage options, including tablet versions with or without a camera.

Unfortunately, Dell did not specify a price range for either version of the new model. Sales of the Latitude 7230 Rugged Extreme are made only through direct communication with official Dell channels.
