The British defense concern BAE Systems has introduced a compact LiteWave HUD display that can be installed in the cockpit of almost any size or military corps. Modest sizers (70% smaller than conventional hood-shams) cause fatigue the day before. LiteWave also simplifies cooling and provides the customer at a much lower cost.

The device is about the size of a laptop, weighs about 7 kg and is equipped with a 1365 x 1024 wide-range display.

Litewave is made in one of the old bae systems factories in rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr HUD heads for pilots in 50 countries, sights, overflights on the Eurofighter Typhoon, F-16, F-22 and LS – self-propelled guns.
