One in ten Russians plans to sell their car in 2023, and 73% will do so to buy a new car, a survey by the Rabota.ru and SberAvto services showed.
More than 5,000 Rabota.ru users over the age of 18 from all regions of Russia took part in the survey.
It turned out that in 2023, 12% plan to sell a car, 48% do not make such plans, 40% do not have personal vehicles.
Why the Russians are going to sell cars (multiple choice):
- 73% plan to buy a new car;
- 18% will sell a car to invest in a larger purchase;
- 15% reported that car maintenance is expensive;
- 3% say they have an opportunity to sell the vehicle profitably.
