Samsung announced this Wednesday (01), during Galaxy Unpacked, OneUI 5.1. The operating system for mobile devices will have new features in device settings, new features for cameras, app, widgets and much more.

The software found on the Galaxy S23, S23+ and S23 Ultra and will be available for more devices soon, will be based on Android 13. Platform updates had been leaked before, and as such, almost everything was known about the revelation.

One UI 5.1 provides quick access to Expert Raw in the “advanced” menu, improving color tone adjustment when taking selfies, three new emoji in Augmented Reality (AR) Emoji camera mode, and a tool to delete photo elements, for example. .

Another interesting tool will be the Shared Family Album, which, as the name suggests, is a kind of folder for sharing photos with family members. In it, users will be able to share photos with up to six people, and people’s faces will be recognized and cataloged.

One UI 5.1 also lets you choose where to save screenshots and screen recordings, new battery and weather widget, new scenario modes for customization, ability to use mouse, keyboard and trackpad on Galaxy Book, and more.

Another interesting feature will be Smart Suggestions, an innovation that recommends frequently used apps based on what you do. For example, when connecting Galaxy Buds, the mobile offers to open Spotify.
