The European Union’s new package of anti-Russian sanctions will be the tenth in a row. The EU published the ninth package in December 2022. Sanctions restrictions were imposed against the mining sector, the supply of unmanned vehicles, three Russian banks and more than 100 people.

The details of the tenth package, the head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, did not disclose, hinting that the new restrictions may affect the prices of oil products from Russia. The agency notes that the announcement of the new package was facilitated by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s speech that the pace of sanctions has slowed down.

According to Reuters sources, the tenth package of sanctions will contain restrictions on the nuclear industry, diamond mining, banking and exports.
